OC Dance Camp is designed for competitive and social dancers.

Originally created for teachers and students traveling from Japan to California to learn new routines and refresh teaching skills with innovative choreography.

In recent years OCDC caught the attention of local dancers.

The OC Dance Camp teaching staff are highly trained champions in their categories.

International and American styles are focused on to produce a highly effective training ground to improve competitive and social dance skills.

Q. Why International Standard technique?

A. Stuart Cole offers variety of fundamentals which are the building blocks for all Ballroom dance forms, even Latin.

Q. One day visit possible?

A . Because of the comprehensive nature of the dance camp, we recommend a minimum of two days to take advantage of this feature.

Q. What is the Formation?

A. Winding down the Camp, selected members will perform at the Avant Garde Ballroom New Year’s Eve Party to celebrate the New Year ! (see video)

Each year, the dance theme (music) is chosen by the members, which is choreographed by one of the instructors into an up to ten couple performance.

This year’s dance is Cha Cha, choreographed by Mark & Viola Weiss.

The Formation has become the focal point of the dance camp and Participants have consistently expressed its life changing effects.
